I have been lied to about order receipt date.

They promised a district manager will call me with a relative date to receive recliners. Nobody called? I'm giving up they lied about delivery date, took my $500 and now will not even respond. I'm done with them.

Horrible website to try ordering from!!!

the website will void your coupons, even birthday coupon if you edit your shopping cart or add it it. customer service is only during store hours and all they'll tell you is to wait a couple of hours and try the website agian.

User's recommendation: don't waste your time trying to make online purchases from their website.

Warranty

So Im on my third couch at big lots . I purchased two last year and both of couches the fabric started to come loose. The first two I had to scream at the manager because he said I had animals which I dont and I didnt take care of the couches. They were spotless. Its a complete scam . The warranty the customer service everything. They will refuse returns even when the couch is having manufactured problems. The third couch is 4 months old and is broken the back top. Apparently its a problem with this model. I also purchased a recliner, its trash too. I purchased the warranty they say take to store and store says call warranty dept. I dont get it .

User's recommendation: Don’t purchase furniture at big lots . They don’t stand behind products they sell.

Disgruntle Employee

After working there for 2years I have seen alot and see how they handle things, I could tell you many reasons the products manly furniture is garbage and 1 out 5 chance it is broken, I could tell you the scam with Rewards thing but I am limited on words here so I will say this if you want good Service and Good product don't go there.

Soon to be a Ex Employee and I have read many complaints on here I could go into detail what games they play and don't care after they have your money, I could go into why 1 out of 3 products are broke and garbage, I could go into why you never get what you want, I could tell you why customer service is a joke, but it to long detail so I well explain in a few sentences, The Company treats Employees like Trash, The product sent to the stores are treated like garbage piles, The company does not care as long they have your money, they are not trying to improve there after your money.

Return and was on hold for a long time terrible customer service will not shop here anymore and will close out my credit card

Bad customer service . Had canceled my order by phone they didnt cancel it like they said. Call today because got email it was shipped. They never canceled the order and kept me hold for half hour. Dont order from them bad customer service

I don’t want this order and want a refund. I can’t get out right now because of surgery so can’t take back to store. When I called on Sunday to cancel order they told me they had canceled the order and I would get a refund in couple days. Very upset

4/10 reviewed 60% off items took my time. This was a big joke items not available also they were not in store.went to Penn hill they did not have any items quit wasting people's time w/these joke!

Did not receive my whole order

FedEx changed my shipment date and delivered my two packages at a different time. One of the two packages were missing. I called Big Lots, and they helped me immediately and shipped my package out within 30 minutes.

User's recommendation: Big Lots has Excellent Customer Service. They know how to keep their customers happy!

False advertisement

Had a display of a 12x12 gazebo wanted to purchase it come to find out even though it was listed as an item for purchase you cant buy it . No stores have it in stock and when I called to order on line was told I still cant order it. Very disappointed ! It is even the featured picture on there outdoor catalog ! False advertisement
