Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. They credited the erroneous charges back to my account. No offer to show that they were sorry for the mistake they made and the inconvenience it caused, or that they appreciated my business so I will no longer do business will them.
So I backed out of website and found out the next day that they not only charged me for the order but they charged me 3 different times (3X) for the order that I never got to successfully place. When I contacted BigLots, they saw that order did not go through and was never submitted but they charged me 3 times anyway. Customer service tried to say sorry but that didn't help me. I was using a Vanilla Visa.
Apparently Big lots does not want to accept vanilla visa. They tried to lie to me and say it was the bank for the card but the card issuer confirmed that BigLots are the ones who refused my payment method otherwise it would not show as pending on my card. Now I have to wait until DEC 14 before I can have that money credited back to me to order for Christmas.
Consumers need to never order from BigLots if you are using Vanilla Visa. They will refuse your card payment but still charge you several times for an order that you never successfully submit.

I was on DoorDash found outdoor cushions on sale 90% off which brought them down to two dollars apiece a door dasher drove all the way there and was told they were $20 apiece that they werent on sale at all. DoorDash called me and said do you still want them?
Of course, I said no, I called the store. The woman was rude. I was told she was the manager. She said there was no way she would sell those at that price when I tried to speak more she hung up.
I called back and asked for district office phone number she put me on hold and never came back , I do not find this acceptable. It is not my fault that they put it on the ad wrong.

BIG LOTS FALSE ADVERSTISEMENT OF IN STOCK PRODUCTS AND THEN THEIR HOLDING ONTO YOUR MONEY FOR A WEEK AFTER YOU CANCEL YOUR ORDER!
I placed an order with the local Big Lots in Centralia, IL online, out of pity for them, for pickup last night. They immediately charged my debit card $118.24, then sent me an email stating they had received my order but it was missing seven of the items in my original order, then they sent the pickup email, still missing the items, but trying to charge me the same price.
I then called the store manager Matt and told him and he made excuses and said there was nothing he could do that all of that was done at corporate and that they just send them a sheet of the items to pull. I told him I was not paying for seven items I did not receive and he said all he could do is cancel the order so I had him do so. Then I told him they already took the money from my account and I asked if they would immediately refund it and he said it would be in my account this morning as it was only pending and would fall off overnight. LIARS!!
It is still on there so I contacted their corporate office and they made the same excuse and said it can take up to five days to reverse and put the money back on my card. Why would they need to put the money back on my card if they had not TAKEN and CHARGED me for the order, they never gave me to begin with!! That is THEFT AND FRAUD!!! I then filed complaints online with the FTC, CFPB, IL Attorney General and I will be contacting the DOJ and my lawyer next if they do not put my money in the account immediately!!
I know exactly what they are doing, they are first trying to rip people off who do not keep track of the items they purchase, and then when that does not work, they are then keeping their money for up to a week to use it as an interest-free loan at the consumer's expense, to fund their business practices, place orders, or invest. I have two business degrees and have worked in law, the county, state, and federal government, and commercial and investment banking. They are not fooling me. These CROOKS and CLOWNS are getting ready to go under and they will take advantage of ANYONE that buys from them!!
No company should be allowed to be prepaid and put a hold on your bank account funds, some gas stations are even putting a $100 hold on a $20 purchase, instantly, yet they then hold onto it for a week or more claiming "It just takes that long to process the reversal" that is BS!!! I also went to school to be a systems analyst and they are LYING!!! Funny JC Pennys tried the same until I told them I had reported them to the FTC and my lawyer then it was in my account, before the next day!! I know they can reverse it immediately but why should they the public is stupid and allowing all of them to use their money as a free loan daily all over this country, millions are having this done to them, this is THEFT and FRAUD, it is no different than floating checks which is also illegal or us walking into their store and stealing a bunch of groceries and paying them a week later for them!!!
ALL need to report all of these instances to the FTC, CFPB, and your local AG and complain about all businesses and banks using our money and us this way, we cannot even survive as it is now, they are trying to use us as a bank to get free loans!!! Tell everyone you know to do the same until it is stopped nationwide and they are SUED, FINED, and SHUT DOWN!

I was in the Big lots Store in Fort Wayne,IN on Illinois Rd. I seen a sectional couch for sale it said the original price was $13.99 and it was on sale for 1099 but then it had a sticker that said display was 700 so I went and told them I would like to purchase the display and they refuse to sell it to me they said that sticker doesn't mean that it's for sale even though it had a barcode and said display model $700 they refuse to sell it to me then finally he tried to tell me that they were still making the thing so they couldn't sell it to me but they couldn't get it to me for 12 weeks and I said well then I'll take the display in 12 weeks and I'll pay now while he tried to charge me full price for a brand new couch and I told him I wanted the display at which time he tried to charge tell me that 700 was the price per piece of this sectional and that would make the price of the couch the display more expensive than a brand new one wrapped in plastic from the manufacturer buying it from them at Big Lots clearly this guy has a friend or someone or himself who he was trying to hold this couch for cuz there's no reason why there should have been a sticker on that couch saying that the display was for sale if it wasn't

I'm not scamming anything. I shop there all the time and am a rewards member or at least I was. I will never shop at or order from this company again. I can afford anything in that store and if you were a decent person you would not be siding with someone who charges a customer 3 times for an order that was never successfully submitted and if Big lots was a decent company, they would own their mistake and give me a gift card to show that they appreciated my business and that they were really sorry for the error they made.
